Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit / B - Great

 

I first played Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit on the PS3 and thought for how great it looks, I should like it more. HP plays well and is pretty fun, but it's encumbered by a number of flaws. For one, the number of screens and load times until you get into actual racing, or pursuit if you're a cop, is very annoying. It also has a seemingly endless number of racing which soon start to repeat and get very mundane. For this reason I couldn't finish the game, though while I did play it I had fun. The mechanics, arcade-style physics, graphics, audio, and everything make for a memorable experience.
